"Hi Ship,   Thanks for the welcome. It is indeed a parlor and the label is Maurer. I don't know what type of Maurer though but it's one of the simpler models. Not even a repaired crack in it despite being built 1938 which is nice.…"

Well met friends,I'm new to the forum and thought I'd take a minute introducing myself. It's just great to see a community full of guitar players here. I play mostly fingerstyle guitar and have a soft spot for American roots music and country blues but I'm not really restricted to any sort of music. Probably Doc Watson is the one who's inspired me the most though.
