I have been playing acoustic folk, country, ragtime and old-time stringband music since the late 1900s. Most every evening, picking tunes in the living room or, when the weather suits, out on the back porch. Guitar, clawhammer banjo, old-time fiddle, and mandolin - the Muse has many voices!

Hoping you've written a book or can refer me to one for your wonderful arrangement of Maple Leaf Rag. (I also wrote to you on Banjo Hangout before I found this site.) I'm capable of playing it like you do with work but if I tried to figure it out from your video it would take me forever. Glad I stumbled on this site which fits me better. I tried one of those Deering banjo-guitars years ago, what a disappointment.
