Need Help with the Basics
I am fairly new to the game, but have progressed to the point where recording myself playing will be beneficial to my development. To that end I purchased a Zoom Q3HD video recorder, naively thinking that would be all I needed. To my dismay, I found my first attempts to be truly awful. I play acoustic with no on-board electronics, so, at the very least I suspect I need a microphone to capture the sound of the guitar. Got to thinking and I'm not sure if I led you in the right direction for my song lists. I started the group "Mentors" and have the lists on that page under "discussions". Have a look and see if you find any Beatles you like. As mentioned in my message to you, there are a number of Beatles tunes that are not on the lists because they are more electric or band type songs. Let me know!

- hi gary thanks for taking the time to look at my playing,,,as for the strings thay are light gauge have used them for a long time now,thay sound good playing finger style and as long as you are not hard on the strings you can play with a pick if you play with med gauge i think you will hear the difference,,,its all good fun.
