Acoustic Fusion CD "Touching Souls" & Gil's Solo CD "Where Is Your Soul?"

Acoustic Fusion is a musical partnership between BMI songwriter and award winning lyricist Howard C. Holbert and Gil Garcia. In this partnership Howard does the writing of the lyrics for a song idea then Gil composes the music for the lyrics sometimes adding or refining them along the way. Gil then performs each song solo acoustic. The exception here is Bailout Blues which is words & music by Gil

New Release: 4 song EP of Cover Songs (fully licensed)

Well this is a first for me. I have never before offered any of my cover songs audio for streaming or download (outside of YouTube where they are covered by YouTube agreement with publishers).

But I went and jumped through the hoops nd had to buy two licenses, one for streaming and one to enable downloads. The original artists have been pre-paid. So it will be interesting to see if there is any interest in releases like this. Kept it down to 4 selected songs because it's…

Introducing Lucy Kitt (a female Neil Young w/ Joni Mitchell thrown in)

I was recently introduced to the music of Lucy Kitt by my friend, and Radio Caroline Disc Jockey, Peter Antony.

Peter sent me a message telling me I had to hear this artist and that he was considering playing her songs on his show even though she had no real official release beyond some EPs. Well I listened and yes she is that good. Very real and you certainly can hear the Neil Young influence and feel a Joni Mitchell vibe too.

Lucy Kitt hails from the South East of England and…

Something Happening Here: New "Open The Door Spotlight" (updated weekly!)

A wonderful Grass Roots effort has started to promote and feature lesser known singer/songwriters who fly under the radar and don't get heard much.

Many of these artists make music for the Love of it and others are struggling to gain exposure to have a career in music.…

Hi Gil Fallin Fallin sounded's the HD28-VR my MartinD41 had the same sound.people go out and spend thousands of dollars on D40,D41,D42.D45,sure they are beautiful and sound fantastic. But you could save a couple of thousand and get a HD28-VR and your going to get pretty much the exact same sound. My next guitar will either be a HD28-VR or a HD35,or I'll go back to my old D41,or even a J40 anice jumbo with all the extras of a jumbo on top.Take care of yourself how old is your son?

Great job on the new version of "Drill. Baby Drill!" Gil. I like the way you found your angry voice and left Neil in the dust. Whoever created that vid did a great job too and I am going to share it with a very politically astute group here at AGC by the name of "Lyrics Analysis". Please join us and add a true patriotic voice that needs to be heard! My hat is off to you Sir!

Thank you for taking the time to listen and comment! Glad you enjoyed "Close to Perfect." I really enjoy your videos and we have Neil Young in common as an influence! That's cool. I like "Falling in Love," it's a very good tune.

Keep writing and performing!
