Maybe you notice a certain "Celtic" flavour in the song. There's a Celt influence in Portuguese Folklore, dating from about 5th century BC, that survives to this day in the use of bagpipes and warrior dances. It is said that, at Monte da Lua, there was a sanctuary of the god Endovelico - patron of the flora and the healing. The song is my version of those old myths and heritage...
