"You're in luck ! this happened to me the other day with my Gibson J45 . Since it was just a Gibson I clipped the pins off even with the bridge and just took a nail and "punched " them on through by tapping with a hammer .…"

Howdy, JR. I haven't put up pics but I'll take one later and send to your email address, if you don't mind sharing.  Mine is jedzep@gmail.com

The reason is that I use my Kodak pic program to make my crappy dial-up send good images.  The fix my guitar got is quite simple though...a structural bridge across the soft spot just to flatten out the top so it wouldn't move more.  I don't think constant loosening and tightening of the strings is good for the bridge, so this holds it in place 'til I get the final fix together.  That may never happen because the L0 sounds true, but a neck reset is pending. so I may have that brace pattern restored and make sure I use 11's or lighter when I string it up.  Later, Dave.
