Anyone else tried these?  Love them; feel like coated strings but without the waxy feeling.  My son ( a confirmed Martin SP Lifespan guy) tried my Martin with these on, and is now going to restring…Continue

Went on a tour of guitar shops in London, Ont. today with my son.  He bought a Tim Armstrong Fender Hellcat A/E.  What a great guitar, easy to play and sounds terrific plugged in.  He has already…Continue

"Accommodation is pretty scarce in Nazareth, we stayed in a B&B which was very nice as far as golf goes...I'll leave that to someone else. It is a fantastic tour and facility with lots of guitars to play and the museum is just brilliant…"

Hotels near Nazareth?

My son and I are looking at doing a visit to the factory in mid-May.  It's about an 8-hour drive for us, so looking at getting a hotel for a couple of nights.  Any suggestions?  And if anyone knows of any decent golf courses around there, that'd be good too.ThanksSee More

"I had the the SWS HG, nice guitar, but I just don't like dreadnoughts, so I traded it in on a Martin 000-16GT."

"Alan, I'm 15 miles East of you, and despite having a humidifier running in both my music room and family room, the humidity, which has been constant at around 45 for months is now at 35 to 37."

"Yep, my new Coastline 12 came with Cleartones. Not bad at all but seemed to go dull after a short while. I'd like to brighten the tone of my 12-string anyway, so I'll be switching them out for the Elixir 80/20 lights"

"I've seen Cleartone strings mentioned a bit on other forums. No Godin-branded D'Addarios, eh? Cleartones are coated strings, so you may want to change them before you make any judgements on tone."

"Congrats James! Sounds kind a great addition. FYI - All three of out folk guitars (S&P Woodland Pro, Norman B20, and Seagull Performer) fit into the same TKL hard case, and fit perfectly."

"Not monogrammed, Jud, just the SKU peel-off label, but it's a nice case nonetheless.  Not a bad guitar either, surprisingly robust for a small body.  Really good midrange."

"Seagull Folk models fit the classical size case.  Getting a Seagull monogrammed regular hard shell case instead of a TRIC for your Grand is a plus in my opinion."

New Gull flew in today..............

Received my new Entourage Rustic Grand today...........pretty basic guitar, but nice rustic finish.  Just went through all the stuff which came with it...............strung with Cleartone strings (whatever those are), and little blurbs on Tusq saddle and nut.  Also included was a free membership (I'm guessing 30 days) to Jamplay. Interesting thing was that the store owner had told me a classical case would fit this, but Seagull told him otherwise; they have a case specific to this model, so he…See More

Good idea.....I'm likely going the next few Fridays so let me know if you are going to drop in and we can connect.

Just curious, if you are a 'rookie' how come you have so many good guitars?
