"Into The Mystic"

I just added my own version of the Van Morrison song "Into The Mystic" to my page here. Any feedback is appreciated.

Posted on May 24, 2012 at 7:30pm

Song added to my page.

I just added a cover of "When You Come Back Down", written by Tim O'Brien and Danny O'Keefe. I first heard this song around the time my oldest child wes graduating high school. Though I doubt that was why the song was written I will always think of it in that context.

Thanks for the kind words on "Be Kind Be There" by my son and I! It is great to collaborate with your own son. As so as he learns the keyboard we will jam!

Actually, I did buy the 716ce first, but it had a finish problem and I ended up taking it back after 2 attempts to fix it. Then I saw the 516 limited and picked that up instead after playing various guitars for like 5 hours in the shop..  lol..

Yes, I did... :-)

I now have a Taylor 516-ce 2011 Fall Limited Addition.

Basically its a 516 with Koa back and sides instead of mahogany.

Its beautiful and sounds great.. :-)

Thanks for stopping by and listening to "Play This Game"!  I did play around a lot with the production on this one. The third "Play" was a suggestion of my Son. And I turned it into a "shout"! I had fun with this one!

Tricky production!

Thanks again!

thanks jeff. good to be in. i don't have a lot of time for this online stuff. i don't have a lot of time for the guitar with work and other responsibilities, but i do enjoy a little time on the couch with the guitar if i get a chance. i'm playing in open g with a little slide. i've got my harmony h165 in my shop for a neck reset, repair some cracks and new finish. i seem to spend more time repairing than playing. thanks for dropping me the line. bob
