Hey Jerry I haven't been on AGC for a while. How are you doing? I pray that your health has improved and you enjoying retirement. Your brother in Christ.

Hi Jerry,

I have a lot of shirt tail relatives down in that area   but I grew up in Montana and after booming around for quite a few years in the military and later working for  NOAA I'm now retired and living in Washington State.

Hey Jerry,

This is Doug MacLeod getting back to you. And yep, I'm the same guy. Thanks for the cool words. I'm glad you enjoyed the stories and the playing!  I hope this reaches you. It's my first time here in this neighborhood.

Thanks again!

Okay, I just sent him a note. By the way, it seems I did in fact tell him your name before and also gave him the link to your original post. I just forgot -- these senior moments keep threatening to become more frequent! I apologize if that was not appropriate.

Thank you Jerry for your reply. Yes, I was inspired by your victory over our number one enemy, Satan, I have added you to my daily prayer list.

No problem, but thanks for your note! I do hope your situation has improved. If you do contact Dick, just mention my name and the Acoustic Guitar Community so he'll have a reference point, since I haven't given him yours, only a little info about you. If you'd like me to tell him you might contact him, I'll be happy to.

May God continue to bless you and to think I was feeling sorry for myself because I can't seem to get my fingers to learn Travis picking. But after reading about the blessing the Lord has given you, I think I will say a prayer to thank the Lord that I can use my healthy hands to strum my songs.
Your brother in Christ. Coke2

I have read your post, "Seeking Wise Counsel," several times and prayed about it some. I feel led to suggest something to you that might help and that you might even be predisposed to follow up on since you are in the ministry. A good friend of mine, Dick Robinson, a retired Presbyterian pastor who now lives in Roswell, GA, not too far from you, has had a healing minstry for many years. I have personally benefitted from his ministry and can tell you that it is powerful. Here is his Web site: When you visit the site, click on "About me" to learn more about Dick and his background. Although his Website emphasizes inner healing, he and his wife, Carrie, are also involved in physical healing and have seen many healings when they have prayed for people. I have mentioned your situation to Dick, but without mentioning your name or going into too many details, and he says that if after you explore his Web site you want to contact him you should feel free to do so. I'm sure he would be glad to pray for you and with you about your situation.
