"I was hooked the first time I went to a show with a friend and saw the Steeldrivers. I listened to country and had enough Taylor Swift and that trash. I got into Bluegrass and love it. I play guitar and am still learning but I enjoy it!"
"Some one at the Bluegrass Shop told me to try the DiAdario Bluegrass strings on an old MIJ Epiphone Flat top that I had, That really changed that guitar and sold me on the Bluegrass strings, The EAD are light guage and the GBE are mediams, They…"
"I got it from Sam Ash after some trading and dealing. It was set up and ready to go so it plays great. Nice rosewood tone with a lot of volume and it has light strings on it. I am going to switch over to DiAdario Bluegrass strings so it should be…"
"I had FedEx loose a Glen Campbell Ovation that I just sold on Ebay. I had to file a police report on where I dropped it at before it forced them to "find" it a week after I had shipped it. It was a week late and I sent the buyer his money…"
"I got an offer to buy a GS335S made in Korea. Perfect shape with case for my Epiphone PR-650 ASB slope shoulder made in Japan and I give up boot. What does somebody think of these guitars? I have no knowledge of the Goya line. I have had the Epi a…"
"I buy sell and trade on Craigslist and Ebay all the time. I keep looking for that perfect tone! I have some keepers and others that I should have kept. I too am in my 50's and disabled so it gives me something fun to do also. Picking up a…"
Thanks Joe, mine is a 1980 as well. When I met it in 2009, loved the blonde and then picked it up and felt the flippin weight and thought " wow this is a beast ". I love the sound and it's structural integrity as well. I use Martin Marquis phosphorus as well and am happy with those. How but the resonance duration if you strike a chord and then put the guitar on its stand ? It rings for like 90 seconds it seems. It's my first Guild but surely not my last. I have been playin a mid 70's Madeira since like 91' (Korean Guild import) and always liked it til I bought the G37. Thanks for the comment and have a great weekend. Playin with friends around a fire tomorrow night...Keep on strummin" !!!
I'll comply as soon as I can. (I'm technologically challenged, so my daughter will have to show me how to post a picture next time she's here from Westerville; usually once or twice a month.)
I'm going to go play my sweet Betsy for a couple of hours.(I'm retired after working 40 years and I'm trying to play 5 or 6 days a week, to make up for all the times I didn't play when I was working) My brother-in-law loves the Brooks & Dunn song, Neon Moon, so I'll have to go brush-up on it. Not too long ago, I could play and sing it fairly well.
