"Nancy, absolutely you can fingerpick a 12 string. Take a look at Leo Kottke, Peter Lang, Leadbelly...and many others. Here is an example from Kottke (Killer tune to boot..."Air Proofing II): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MKSSN_KfJ60"

No, I've still got the Goodalls. This new Taylor is really intended to be a "travel" guitar, so I don't have to drag those high-priced Goodys around with me, plus the Taylor is smaller, so its a little lighter and easier to carry around. But it sure has a big voice for a mid-sized guitar.

Got a new Taylor yesterday, a rosewood and cedar GA7. Best description - a mid-sized guitar with a lot of sparkle and understated power.
I needed to stimulate the economy.
