Laurence Eddy replied to Michael Shaw's discussion Moving the top part of my palm OFF the 1st string"Try and keep the fretboard vertical. You may not be able to see it to position you fingers, but it will mean there is less rotation and stress on you wrist and your fingers won't be pulled down onto the strings. Hope that makes sense!"
