Larrivee OM -03

I bought my OM-03 new in 2007. It immediately sounded great and continues to open up fantastically. In 2009 I added a K&K Pure Western pick up and use an L.R. Baggs PARA Acoustic DI when performing. I can tweak the preamp to a pretty good amplified approximation of my unplugged sound ... but it's never as good as I'd like. I recorded this unplugged in my office with my little Zoom Q3. Anyone have any additional suggestions for amplification? …See More

Hi again Lon....Listened to "Love Me Slow" today. Very nice. This one has something similar to the old "Ink Spots". You certainly cover a wide spectrum of both content and presentation!

Hi Lon - Love Me Slow - A really sweet little song that listens like an favorite old standard. Reminds me of Leon Redbone in guitar style, and your voice fits the style to a T.

Hi Lon - Love Me Slow is totally enchanting and delivered so beautifully. Love the lyric especially the imagery in the bridge section. This just makes you feel so good. Congratulations

Just listened to "Baba Lon". I loved the guitar work, your vocal, and the physical expressions were priceless.
Do you happen to know Harry Tuft, owner of the Denver Folklore Center? His song "The Bristlecone Pine" is one of my favorites. Your songs and presentation remind me of Harry.
As always...a pleasure to hear you again!

Lon,
Just listened to "Cold Lips of Paper" as referenced in the "recording" group. I thought it was your best yet!

Lon,
Cold Lips of Paper: A good song and well done. A clever idea and lyrics, and it sets a mood and tells a story well. It's a little slow, but it's short (and sweet) so it works, at least for me.

Lon,

Roman Rider is a beautiful song-great tribute and well crafted!!!! I am also impressed that you recorded it on the ZOOM H4N. I recently bought one and am trying to learn how to use it. I am able to record on it but am not sure how to save an individual song or transfer it to my computer. How long did it take you to figure all that out??

Really pretty song and performance.
