- Fingerstyle original compositions ranging from New age DADGAD, slide(pinky), Brazilian/latin flavor on the nylon. Completed first CD in March of '09 (55 Miles). Finished up recording CD#2 in Nashville, TN October '10 at Sonoma Recording Studios. Mix and Master in Moss Beach and hopefully out in late spring '11. Famous last words!!

No, I am not in the Bay area, as a matter of fact, I am about as far away as you can get...I live just outside of Baltimore Maryland! I have never been to CA, I have only been as far as Vegas. I really love my JF30, it's a 1990 with a factory installed Fishman pickup. These days my main stage 6 string is a Gibson J100extra from 1994, but the JF30 gets stage time too as it's tuned down a whole step for songs like McCartney's Yesterday, basically songs I can't sing high enough for! Edward

I see you own a Guild JF 30 too! I have a JF 30 just like yours (a 1990 I think). I also have a 1980 Guild JF212XL 12 string...if you ever get a need for a 12 string, stick with Guild as they are the best!
