Paul replied to Mark Miller's discussion difficult chord fingerings in the group Fingerstyle players
"When I ran into situations like this my teacher would look at me exasperated and say, "Why are you playing all those strings?" He would then show me an alternate fingering that was basically the same chord and voicing and use at least two…"

Mark Miller replied to Hugh McCloskey's discussion How do you tame a slippery pick? in the group Acoustic Newb
"Pick choice update: after not liking the V-picks, which were way too thick for my taste, I ordered Steve Kaufman's yellow picks. They are cheap and available on his website flatpik.com. They don't have any grooves or holes or anything, but…"

Mark,
Welcome to the Acoustic Newb group. There are players of all experience and skill levels in the group, and some teachers too, which is great because we newer players can learn from the more experienced ones as well as from each other. Have fun!
