Well played, well sung. I really like Dougie's songs. Sadly they don't sound the same when sung in an English accent! So I never play them in public.
I have looked at travel guitars and I am very tempted by the Vintage. I…"

"Hello Peter, Really enjoyed listening to your work. Excellent musicianship. Superb guitars and the natural sound you get, even on the pieces recorded live, is phenomenal. Great website.
Hope you get over to the UK sometime for some concerts.
"Hey Jeff, I did it! I finally managed to get an image onto my page.
I chose an image from my iphoto album, dragged it onto the desktop, then on My Page I chose to change image , then I clicked the box that said choose image, this brought up the…"
Actually I didn't add the picture of the guitar-I think it was just there. Like you I have no idea how to add a picture to my page though I do have one I would like to use. Adding music is fairly easy though as long as you can get it…"
"Jeff, thanks for the welcome. Enjoyed your songs. Just trying to find my way around the site. Guitar playing I can do (to some extent) but computers are another thing! I have been trying for ages to move a photograph in to "my page" to use…"

Thanks for your kind comments on my music.
Our music overlaps in a couple of areas...
You say that you play songs from the 1930's onwards in weekly group guitar sessions.
This sounds like a lot of fun.
I imagine that each guitarist would probably have different ideas on how to play these songs - Jazzy, Bluesy, Folky, Funky...
I'd like to hear more about your group...

Actually I didn't add the picture of the guitar-I think it was just there. Like you I have no idea how to add a picture to my page though I do have one I would like to use. Adding music is fairly easy though as long as you can get it into an mp3 format-do ypu have something that you record on? I use both a digital recording studio and a computer with Pro Tools (I am just trying to learn that). Once I have the songs on a CD from either of those I upload them to the computer using a program called Free Rip ( there are lots of other programs out there too). I got it for free online and it converts the wav. files from my recordings to mp3's and then I can upload them to my page here.
If you ever figure out how to do the picture thing let me know!!!!
I also play in a "garage band" where we do classic rock and blues but I can't imagine how much fun it must be to play with 15-20 other people at the same time.
