I'd suggest looking at a Seagull Artist Folk or a Walden CO2000, but your tastes/budget seem higher-end than that...have you checked out Jay Lichty's page here? He's a NC luthier, and builds beauty's as well...

Patrick said… Michael, I use a Boss looper RC20xl....it has a higher bit/sampling rate than the digitech and works pretty nicely...lots of storage for tracks.
