40's-50's Country Swing, Rockabilly, Folk, Original compositions, I am an avid member of Washington Old Time Fiddlers and play with a partner named John Schultz in a duo called "The Olde Tymers" that features music from the days when gasoline was 22 cents a gallon and 'hullaballoo' was a word in general usage. hey - enjoyed you songs -- particularly "dance of the drunken pr . . ." (it doesn't show the whole title) and "heartaches spoken here" -- thanks for sharing - peace - alex
Hey mike,
thanks for the kind words. yes, 20-30 yrs. is good for "someone" who isn't their own worst critic. lol. It's a long story my friend. Gave up on guitar quite a few times, but this time I am in it for the long haul. Sussex is in New Brunswick, about a one and one half hour drive from your friend in Prince Edward Island. Guess you could say he is a "potatoe picker"...lol. I have a friend here in saint john you may have heard of . Paul Dujohn, played way back when with the garrison brothers. Mostly celtic type of guy mixed in with some bluegrass. Nowadays he is mostly suffering with carpal tunnel realllly bad. I'm gonna check out your stuff as soon as I get off here. Anyways, thanks again for the stop over. Keep on playin' my friend. cheers
