My Guitar Practice Log May 2010

My Journey
Week One/Day One:
I just had my first sit down with my guitar.
First I tuned it, guess that's a really good practice to get into,
lol!
Next I took Greg's advice, starting with the G until I got a clear
sound
then practicing the Em, and then both in combination
I pretty much have those two down right now.
Ran into a bit of trouble with the C and by the time I got to D
my hand was aching a bit.
I mainly focused on making sure that after I fingered… Continue

Phyllis Woolery said… - Yes Michele, the doctor is right. He sent also sent me to Cleveland Clinic. They agree with him. So I just enjoy what I can. With the support of my Son when he comes to see me. My first guitar was a Takamine G Series. Which I have keep. So Brian will get it down and play it. Then he likes to tease me and says "you call this a guitar". Brian has a Taylor 814 CE. We have lots of fun playing together. It is great to have you as a friend. Got to go for now. Talk later.

- Michele, my house is quiet now. My Son got married 1 year ago. I lead a quite life. I have a disability. Have a rare illness. I am now in a power chair cannot walk. My doctor said that I am dying. So I really enjoy playing my guitar. It gives me piece. When I cannot sleep at night I get my Fender out and do not plug it in and play it as long as I can.

- Hi Michele It would be great to be your friend. I have played for about 2 years. Sometimes I will play for about 4 hours and my fingers will feel tender. But it is well worth it.
