Identify this Artist model?

I came across this Seagull Artist on Craigslist that I'm thinking of checking out:http://denver.craigslist.org/msg/3375453953.htmlI asked the sell which particular Artist model it was, but he didn't know.  Apparently the label only identifies it as an Artist series, but doesn't say which one (is that typical?).  It looks to me like it has a spruce top and mahogany back/side (which would make it a Portrait, I believe) but I'm not…See More

"Good point, Jud. Perhaps the "brightness" has more to do with the cherry back and sides of the Seagull vs. the Sapele back and sides of the Eastman. I think Sapele sounds like Mahogany which would decrease the brightness a bit. My Norman…"

"You're comparing spruce to cedar.  I'm a bit surprised that the cedar Seagull S-6 appears brighter than the spruce Eastman ... but I must say that my wild cherry laminate S-6 was much "brighter" to my ear than my solid…"

Hey Pat!

If you have any interest in the Walden G1070CEQ, I was e-mailing Dave Word (www.holeinthewood.com) about the T550 I'm ordering, and casually mentioned that there was some interest about the G1070CEQ on our website.  He e-mailed this back to me:

"I failed to mention - I have a very slightly used G1070CEQ that a
customer ordered with an installed black strap button (installed myself
per Walden specs) and updated black Walden tuner buttons. A customer
ordered and backed out of a few months ago and I'm unable to sell it
new.  I'd be willing to let it go at 20% what's online."

I assume he means 20% off...
