How long have humidifiers and the like been on the market? And how many quality instruments were played for years before then and are still in good condition?

- I ahve never heard of an Muchael Lewis mando, I will have to look that up! I have two mandos, well one mando and one Banjolin, which is kind of a hybrid baby banjo body with a mandolin neck. There are pics/descriptions on my site.
