Battery operated amps/systems

Busking and playing in areas where it is not convenient to plug in require a system or amp that runs on a battery. There are several on the market now. Which one do you use?See More

What type of music do you like to play?
Mostly Acoustic, Dylan, Marshall Tucker, Buffet, 50's thru 80's and I sing and play mostly chords and want to flatpick and need some pointers. I fingerpick some, and working on scales, alternate picking needs alot of work. Working on my blues chops and having a blast.

Yep, practice practice!  Freeing up your picking hand will take a lot of work but it's very worth it.  Hang in there.

Great to hear you like the right hand exercise video!  There are a bunch more instructional videos on my web site and YouTube, including a series on right hand technique.  I'm working on a series on picking techniques (alternate picking, cross picking, rest strokes, hybrid picking etc...) right now.  Here are some links to other materials you might enjoy.
