GNuck said… I forgot to say I like your collection as well.
I like your EKO.
I'm a big fan of smaller guitars, especially ones with 1.75 nut.

GNuck said… Hi Robert thanks for the welcome and the comments about my small collection of guitars. I hope it grows some in the future. :-)
I'm watching the classifieds and eBay for a guitar to do my first fixer upper project, so I'll be a newbie when I do get one to work on. I've done a lot of woodwork and formica\laminate work in the past but nothing compared to restoring and working on guitars.
Check out my group Small Body Guitars sometime if you get a chance.
I'm in Florida as well up in Pensacola. I worked a year in Tampa and a year in St. Pete back in the 70s. Love that area especially Treasure Island where I lived back then.
Thanks again;
Gary

Jud Hair said… Thanks Robert. I agree that patience is probably the most important thing. I also have an old Silvertone that had the saddle glued in (it's a Harmony product too) and I was a little too hurried resulting in a shattered bridge with only about half of it actually out of the saddle when I gave up on it for a while. I'll look into the informational resources you gave me. Thanks again.
