New tunings for a different sound?

Hey all, I spent about 2 hours tonight writing a new song (in the key of Cm)I ended up tuning the first and second strings up a half step, the tuning is:1-F2-C3-G4-D5-A6-EThis is the first time I've used an alternate tuning (other than drop D) What are some other alt. tunings???See More

Anyone interested in some folk from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan?

I'm not sure if I'm the only one from the U.P. of Michigan, but there are some great events coming up. on August 8th there's the Days River Lions Music Fest in Brampton MI (my band "Sadness The Leprechaun" is opening) along with some really great local folk and country bands. There's also the monthly Rent Party at the 8th St. Coffee House in Escanaba MI on July 31st.Any other Yoopers here dere 'eh?See More
