Born in California, raised in Oregon, Scott has followed music to the Mississippi Delta to study blues in Memphis, he's sung rock and reggae music in the North Pole and played country music on the beaches of San Diego. Scott experimented with several types of music before realizing his writing has strong country tendencies. Claiming various influences from Johnny Cash to John Lee Hooker, Tony Bennett to Bob Marley, He's happy to sing anything, anytime, to anyone who'll listen. In November of 2004, after spending 3 years with San Diego's finest Country Rock band, the Ranch Rockers, Scott and his family pulled up stakes and moved to Music City, USA to pursue a career in songwriting. Since August of 2007 Scott has added "Talk Radio Host" to his resume as a co-host of The Music Row Show, a weekly radio program that explores all facets of the Nashville Music Industry and broadcasts live to 28 states on WLAC AM1510. Yeah I'm a big Townes fan. I have Heartworn Highways on DVD and also the recent documentary on him. Quite a songwriter, Pancho and Lefty, Flyin' Shoes and Highway Kind are some of my favorites
by him.
I love the 614ce, great trebly sound and the smell of that maple gets me every time I open the case. I also have an older 510 with the thinner neck, I recently had some work done to it at the factory here in San Diego and it is better than new now.
I listened to your songs, they are GREAT! I really like Having Rum, great lyrics, nice vocals and very professional production. Do you have a CD of your tunes to purchase anywhere?
Have fun playing those sweet guitars and sensational songs!
Kevin
Thanks for becoming a friend!!! I just listened to the songs you have posted here and I love your guitar playing, voice and the varied types of songs you write. I would love to hear more. We seem to share a love for Taylor Guitars as well as similar musical influences. I am also going to check out your radio show.
Thanks,
Jeff
