I agree with ShipofFools, if you do it enough it will become second nature and you will hit your comfort zone. I've been playing for years and remember most of my anxiety being associated with not having a more complete set list, not being sure of l…

Thanks Steve for adding me...I did the same for you.
I have a picture/description page on my website of all of the guitars I own and three are Gibsons, two acoustics and one semi solid electric. I am going to list the links directly to those pages for you in case you might like to visit.
I think you would be particularly interested in the semi-solid Gibson. It's a Les Paul Signature... a rare bird indeed, but only because they couldn't sell them! It is the only semi-solid model with his name on it and sports low-Z pickups with both Low and High Z outputs, a phase switch, and a impedence output level switch for the low Z output. It is also a gold top (weird on a semisolid I know)! Mine was made in 1976, although they only made them from 1974 to 1978... i have a few good detail shots of it on my site.
My J100 extra I boutght at the Philly Vintage Guitar show in 2004. It was made in 1994 and the company was started in 1894, making it a Centennial model. My other is a J160E like Lennon and Harrison played in the early Beatles...but mine has "X" bracing and a solid top, unlike theirs which had fan bracing and a ply top. I have a friends 1974 Custom Dove I am fixing up to sell for her. She bought it new and became disabled and can't play it anymore...it is almost mint! Anyway, nice to meet you, hope you get to visit my site and that I'll hear back from you !

Hey Steve,
I see you are a Gibson guy! Me too...I have a 1994 Centennial J100extra, a 2004 J160E, and a 1976 Les Paul Signature. My group also uses a Bose System like yours. We do John Prine too. Welcome to the community! Edward
