Cowgirl In The Sand

"A good job on this song. Brought me back into AGC. Haven't been here lately.  I really liked the vocals. As far as tuning the guitar down a couple steps, I figured that trick out myself a few months back. I pretty much keep it there,…"

Thanks for the compliments! I do digital art for my blog listed in my profile. I use various graphics programs to "construct" an image. And for a trial period I had Adobe's Lightroom which allowed me to adjust photographs I took of my own guitar and my son's guitar. I enjoy a grungy feel of images so I do use Texture backgrounds. I usually explain how I do them on my blog.

Lately I've done a few images of our new Grandson Zeke (Ezekiel) and some others not guitar related.

"Collision Warning" was a blast, it seems the more enjoyable they are to create the better they sound! Very happy you enjoyed it too!

I have had many suggestions to make changes in my songs, so the question you raised is a good one. How many times can you reshape a tune and should you copyright every change in succession? I'm afraid I don't have an answer for that.

My guess is it is up to the songwriter how he copyrights his tunes and whether or not to copyright successive changes. I am not sure you could use the same "titles" as you have already copy written the original tune!

I think you've raised a group of questions with your thoughts, and I am no expert! LOL!

Thanks for the comments Steve. Sorry about the bar chords, I hang my head in shame. Seriously though I thought the sparse accompaniment worked well when the melody goes down the octave. Interesting you feel it didn't. I'll maybe rethink what I'm playing at that point. Good feedback.
I had a listen to your stuff, keep it up some good sounds there.
