Hey, Steve - IMHO, learning the notes on the fretboard is best done within some sort of context, rather than by means of raw rote memorization. Best to back-engineer this sort of knowledge from within an exploration of the CAGED system or even scale…

Randy Kohrs got ripped off - here is the stolen instrument list
Randy Kohrs' band got ripped off. Please post this list anywhere you feel might be appropriate or useful!

My "Ten-In-One" CD is all done
It all went out via The Interwebs today ... graphics files and audio files, whoosh, straight to the manufacturer. It's all done, and a far cry from the sweet little fingerstyle album I thought I was making when I started a year and a half ago. But lordy, when The Muse taps you, you gotta answer. Especially if she taps you with a fricking baseball bat. For much of the making of this record I felt like I was just taking dictation from my own subconscious. Yow. RIP Davy Graham
Davy Graham died a while back, I just found out. Rest in peace.
