Acoustic Guitar at NAMM -- Saturday, January 16th
OK, so it's still early, but I have a few minutes of free time before meeting Acoustic Guitar contributor Gary Joyner for breakfast. Acoustic Guitar at NAMM -- Friday, January 15th
It’s Day Two here at NAMM, and I just have a few minutes to report before heading to Acoustic Guitar’s 20th Anniversary Party. Healdsburg Guitar Festival 2009
With this being Back to School season, I feel a bit like talking about “What I Did Last Summer.” Without a doubt, one of the guitaristic highlights was attending the Healdsburg Guitar Festival in August. Thanks for the great article on the 1974 Montfort Gibson SJ Deluxe. Really interesting the changes he made to the fretboard to achieve vibrato.
I owned an SJ Deluxe that I bought used in 1970 and never saw another one in all the years I owned it. My son still has it, but I think it probably needs a lot of work. Something interesting about the soundboard was the glue from the top bracing had migrated through the top and was quite visible under the finish. This was evident right from the time I bought it. It was still a great sounding instrument nonetheless...John

Great article on Breedlove! I had the pleasure of attending the Extraordinary Experience in 2006. I own the most exquisite CM built to my specifications with wood I selected in the shop and made lifetime friends out there in Bend. I can't say enough good things about these folks.
