"Thanks Robert. I do have two inline attenuaters  at home I could try. Now that I think of it they are RCA plug type and if I adapt to them I'll lose the XLR connection. I'll have to think about it more but excellent suggestion."

"Sounds like you need a pad to attenuate the signal from the 1402 and match it to the input of the Tone Match.  You can google instructions for building one, you just need to know the output and input signal strengths."

Anyone doing this?

I've posted here about my Bose and it works great. We recently did two outdoor shows and I connected two JBL EON's to the Aux output for a total of 1200 watts output. The vocals came across really well. But on to my question. Having sold off most of my old PA gear I did hold on to my Mackie 1402 VLZ mixer. I've found the Bose Tone Match does not have enough inputs. Currently I have my Taylor T5, two vocal mic's and an iPod taking up all the available channels. Our bass player and drummer want to…See More

What a shame.

Today I had to take down a video I posted here called "Only Love" by Diane Ponzio. This video was produced in 1992 by myself and a friend who directed, co-produced and co-edited the piece with me. It was broadcast on my cable show which ran for…

And the band played on!

My last blog outlined how the band line up had finally fallen into place, it's been almost a year since and I'm tickled with the progress we've made.

We spent about three months honing our repertoire when the drummer popped up with a gig.… Continue

Terry, nice to hear back from you. I've never used the Community much before, so I don't know what further treats await. I hope I'll get round to doing a video before too long

Thanks for the friendship. No, the parrot isn't mine, it's just a friend that I visit, from time to time, in the pet-shop where it lives.

Thanks Terry. You can tell I am a newbie just commented to myself! Get a blood test done to check your rheumatoid factor/level. Early detection can help or prevent twisting of your fingers. I've got or had a great rheumatologist but he's retiring in July. My fingers swell and get very painful but no twisting of my joints. Meds aren't fun but tried all the natural stuff but no go with RA. Fingers are so swollen today as it's 41C here!
