What a bummer
Today my Mother passed away after a long bout with lung cancer and emphysema. This almost right on top of Larry (the drummer for the band who I've posted about before) passing last week. Jackie and I went to Larry's wake (see posting) and funeral…

Nope, no 12-string yet....but too busy to even play my 6-string right now, so that's okay. It was ordered 8 days ago and the shortest delivery is about 2 weeks.
As far as my guitar skills, they are pretty ordinary. I can chord just about anything if it's in simple format and I do a little finger-style stuff, but I mostly play so I can sing and those who listen say I sing pretty good. Who am I to argue. I am, however, working on playing better, especially finger-style/Travis style. I was recently diagnosed with arthritis in both hands (nowhere else) so that cramps my style a lot. It's a great challenge at 56, but great fun.
I hoping to put up a video of me doing a song or two in the next 3-4 months.....we'll see how that goes.

Well, I'm glad your guitar is as good as new...or better.
Hmmm, not sure my guitars play as well as they look when in my hands, but I have a great time playing them. Looking forward to getting my new 12-string in a few weeks.

I'm selling St Blues Mississippi Bluesmaster,Reverend Sensei RT, & Morgan Monroe Blues 32. I'm taking your advise and play even if its for 15-20 minutes when I come home to keep the rust off.
