Very nice, affordable inn in Hollywood - for Newport show
If you haven't yet settled your accommodations for the Newport show, there's a very nice inn right on the beach that's owned by a friend of a friend of mine. It would be a big step up from your run-of-the-mill hotel down there, and it's not much more expensive than the budget places. I think you'd be quite pleased. The scale length on mine is 22.25" which is perfect for that body size, in my opinion. You don't see many octave mandos in groups, however. Their range is about where the guitar is and I think it would get lost in there. Oh, by the way, I watched the video of Tony Dune playing the guitar/bouzouki. Sounds and looks great! Jon
