Bill you da man seabird was the very first 16 track studio in florida owned by bill conti I traded out my playing on commercials for studio time with the aim of making an album it was still vinyl then we never finished the album most of it is scratch vocal and the rest is live as a group at the time we were all behind isolation barriers with headphones on so I am amazed that we got some great fiddle and banjo takes as well as slap bass you have to remember back then New grass was a new thing I had just heard Sam bushes deubt at Camp springs NC with the revival heddy times indeed thanks a bunch I hope you come over to the house we will feed you and pick you know you are welcome anytime if you want to come here and rest or rehearse thursday or any day you are always welcome to come early or as they say stay all night stay a little longer THANKS again Rob most of that was produced and egineered by Dana Cornack also sonny metz they both went on to bigger things sonny produced or recorded mark O connors first record after winiefield everything happens for a reason and whatever reason I got together with you I am grateful for and the music surrounds us an I dont even ask will the circle be unbroken see you soon 321 480 4707

Hey, I am also revamping sugar foot rag and playing it in a celtic style I am calling it Walters reel if I do anything with it I am going to put Debi garland on it as cowriter hank got part of sugarfoot rag from a fiddle tune called sally gardens or something similar I actually have heard hank play fiddle and he could pull a bow of course he worked with some of the best right before hank died Vassar came by as did willie nelson and many others I have much to tell you and will update you on the further story I became aquainted with a fellow in japan who you would love to meet who can shed some light on the whole richie garcia george Shearing Mob controversy surrounding hank this guy was in The sixties band the association and Ambrosia and played with many jazz greats as well when I see you I will aprise you of the details and so it goes

Great, to hear from you, I have been working a little with Luna guitars check out there web site then let me tell you more, also they have just come up with a new mandolin series and lee is consulting with them up untill now she would only play her gibsons and they all are close to a hundred years old we also have a three point that was actually signed by orville I am playing a couple of different banjos however my favorite is a Vega which you need to come over and strum I was playing tenor for a while for Disney any way we have a lot of catching up to do usually Tony comes over after the gig on wednesday night and we make Pizza or something and talk late Tony needs some help with his producer music studio aspirations I am afraid he is just putting money down a dry hole so maybe you can dutch uncle him sometime I am fine and super busy havent seen Billy in a long while mostly since I spoke with harold bradley in las vegas about hank also I would love to put you in touch with hanks daughter she wasnt happy with the way the movie portrayed her Mom
