Hi All, Some of you are aware that I tried to get funding for starting up an Artists' Workshop in Auburn, Alabama. Do any of you own one of these? 1100 of the J1's were built. One of Martin's great but unheralded guitars, because it is so plain looking. What a sweet sound though! Strange that I can't find it on Martin's website, even in the 'inactive' list.

I was also did "SAR" Search and rescue, both out of a chopper & small boat. I have met lots of veterans from the Vietnam Era, one thing that was missing when you guys got back was a "THANK YOU" for all you did to serve your country. I didn't go in the Navy until 1976, so I was well after the Vietnam War ended. Anyway, I just wanted to say hello and I'll talk to you soon.
