I love my Aguilarte, but even when I bought it I knew I loved the sound but that the neck would need some work. I figured that Yuris Zeitlin would be able to take care of it, which he did beautifully. Now it's very easy to play and sounds lovely. Dan Zeff told me that he checks in on Juan's instruments from time to time, but hasn't found one that worked for him. Similarly, a student of mine went to Granada and bought one of Juan's guitars. At first I felt bad because I didn't like the sound of it at all. Six months later it had opened up and proved to have a wonderful sound. Guitars are a bit like wine in that way, I guess.
Thanks for the invitation - the site looks very interesting. I will be spending time there. I am always looking for the "next" guitar
