What tuning to you recommend for a beginner? I was thinking of open "E" because it is so much like regular guitar tuning, or maybe open "D" since it is the same only a whole step lower...what do you think? Thanks for your input!

I notice that you have a Gibson archtop...I have started two groups "Acoustic Archtops" and "Gibson Owners"...Hope you'll consider joining us in one of both! I know it says "Acoustic" in the Group titles, but of course there is no problem if you have a pickup!!!
I was just trying to keep it to non-thinline models (like yours)..not strictly acoustic.
