- I have a guitar that is a culmination of 10 years of upgrading, and have now owned it for about 10 years. It is not the most expensive guitar but it sounds good to me and it has sort of adopted me. I would no sooner trade it than I would trade my dog, or one of my kids. I have come to an understanding that instruments are fickle partners and require time and effort to fully evolve a relationship. I also believe that certain guitars have songs in them, and they will share these songs with you if you have the patience to wait for them.
- What type of music do you like to play?
- I like to play fingerstyle and fingerpicking music. I enjoy trying to work out old rock tunes in fingerstyle. right now I am working on brown eyed girl, friend of the devil, and what child is this? I like Acoustic guitar 's music and work on those songs. In alternate tuning I'm learning Paul Brady songs from his dvd, and Patty Larkin. occasionally.

I will have to check those out. I lost a lot of their material I had on my computer last time I formatted it and my dad is the one that owns the discs (guess that means I have him to blame when people look at my iPod and call me old, right? Just kidding..) next time I am at their place I will have to go looking and I will keep them in mind.
