Guild F20

I picked up a Guild F20 acoustic guitar a few years back. It's a 3/4 size guitar with some damage, but playable. I'm having a hard time finding out the history of this instrument. Can someone please share a little light on this? It would greatly be appreciated.

What is a Good Note

I was flipping through Robert Henri's The Art Spirit before I began my guitar practice tonight.  This book has more pieces of paper sticking out of it then any book on art theory that I own. So many great thoughts that apply to any creative process.  Henri had a connection with his muse on all levels that I admire.… Continue

Video Poll: Which One Suits The Song Better?

Thanks in advance to anyone willing to take the time. Your opinion is valuable.

BTW, not asking for opinions about the song itself, just the video to go with it.

I Have two videos for the original song TENT CITY with lyrics by Howard C. Holbert and Music (and performance) by me. In your opinion which one of these videos is better for the song? Thanks for your help!

My lifelong obsession with these pieces of wood.

I have been obsessed with guitars for as long as I can remember. A friend of my Dads brought one to our house when I was around 5. I thought he was some kind of god or magician. The sounds coming from that acoustic amazed me. It hasn't stopped amazing me.

As I grew up, anytime I would hear songs with loads of guitar, I would stop and just listen. Not really good during work or school or in the middle of conversations. My friends kind of got used to it though. We never really had the…

Gwyneth Paltrow Sings With Cee Lo, Covers Taylor Swift On 'SNL'

When Cee Lo promised that he and Gwyneth Paltrow would be cranking out some musical moments when they both turned up on "Saturday Night Live," he wasn't playing around. The Lady Killer singer hit the stage twice, but he also showed off his comedic chops by popping up alongside Gwyneth in three different sketches.

Eric Clapton has given over 40 years of his life to the music industry

Eric Clapton has given over 40 years of his life to the music industry but December 22,1991 might be the most memorable day of the all time favorite guitarist after the release of the movie “Rush” for which he scored the music. Though most of his music was instrumental but he also contributed the movie soundtrack and six Grammy Awards winner song "Tears in Heaven" that has been believed to be a tribute to the Eric’s son who died at the age of 4 year. I was finally able to sleep in a couple of extra hours today.  The Holiday demands of both my professional and personal life now being met.  Yesterday I woke with an invading microbe looking to live within my body.  So I did slip in some rest yesterday, while still tending to our Christmas celebration.

Today I needed to rest, and I have.  A gentle morning followed by an afternoon nap.  A cold, windy, and snowy Sunday keeping me inside to rest and stay warm.  Earlier, while resting,…
