It is with real sadness I pass along that fingerstyle guitarist Buster B (Brad) Jones passed away on Monday in Eugene, Oregon. He was surrounded by friends. As he went, his friend Bobby Gibson was playing what Buster always said was the last song he wanted to hear, "I'll See You In My Dreams". He was only 49 years old.
Buster was considered to be hands down the authority and master of Jerry Reed style playing. He was a phenomenal player - everything from soft classical stuff to…

Id like to say a special thanks to my Dad Jerry Roy and my good friend Stephen Ziegenfuss for
spending there time and talents to get some very good pictures of my guitars.
Its head and shoulders above what I am capable of doing and I appreciate it very much!
Thanks guys!

This skull
I can feel Cro-Magnon man when I explore the cavities of my skull
And it hurts- I have the pains of centuries of hurt
The bone, the bone is some kind of home
But it’s covered in skin
And I am really thin with my skin
It’s the bone and I want to go home
This skull
What would they know if that was all that was found
A middle-aged man from downtown
I can feel Neanderthal Man on…

Chrysalis
and I’m in the bubble this shape that moves with my body
spinning swirling effortlessly
wondering where I am but it feels good I’m safe, protected, quiet. There is peace here that I do understand and I’m being fed. Let me stay here for a while
I can hear you outside
I can see some light
my eyes they cannot open jus yet but I do feel the light.
I am being fed
I am floating…

Type A
Put your hands on the typewriter
And imagine where your fingers are
To land and begin to move
The hand
Type “A”
Now where are your fingers?
And do you have the patience
To listen to me.
Type “A”
Where are your fingers?
And do you have the patience to listen to me
Type “A”
And what about your mother
Is she…

We see and hear those involved professionally in artistic performance. We have the opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas with them, along with other notables from the manufacturing, retail, and even the publishing world.
Important as they are to the guitar community as a whole, these individuals comprise a comparatively small…
