The birth of a Luthier.
Hello my name is Dan.
Well I am a 54 year old man that has always wanted to build acoustic guitars. Since I was about 12 I imagined how it was done and what kind of tools etc. Well here I am at last, I'm finally doing it. Leather Guitars
Thought I'd use this forum to spread the word about the new line of leather wrapped archtop guitars I am building here in Claremont NH. I discovered that bonding naturally tanned leather to a laminated archtop guitar produces a rich tone while reducing the stray harmonics that so many guitar players find annoying. Home Guitar Studio in Progress
I'm always searching around to see what other guitarists' home studios are like. I've been remodeling a house for the past two years and the studio is really coming together.
