Airline flight guitar horror stories are legion, so I thought I'd tell one with a happy ending.

I recently flew from San Francisco to Washington, DC on Virgin America -- yes, the airline with cocktail lounge lighting on its planes, which can be a bit disconcerting at 8:00 am. I started messing around a few months ago on an entry level Gibson Maestro guitar, that was given to me. When I got it, it needed a new 1st string, some new bridge pins just to get it into playable shape. Well I did that, then discovered that Hammerons and Pull offs were just weak to non existant on this instrument as well as slides. So I started closely examining the guitar for ways to improve it.

The Maestro I have has a solid spruce top and mahogony sides and back. Okay…

I continue to search for a T. Haruo acoustic guitar, preferrably a Model 150, to replace one that has been lost. Does anyone out there in the Acoustic Guitar Community have any idea as to where one might be found?
