This Weeks noodle is:
Matt Stevens - Draw (Rough Solo Mix), Guitar/Fuzz Bass/Guitar Synth, Filter Pedal - Stuart Marshall Drum Loop - K Feazey - Programming Recorded by K Feazey Not mixed or mastered.
This weeks noodle is an example of when you try something and it doesn’t work - we went for an electric solo on this, thinking kind of Neil Young/Thurston Moore/Zappa(live)/Greg Ginn messed up soloing - we just ended up kind of messy. Thats what happen when you do last minute… Continue

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new here (having just joined like yesterday...lol) so I thought I'd start with a blog post. After surfing around and reading many of the many educational posts and comments I thought I'd start off with listing some common chord progressions I found on the web in various nooks and crannies. Haven't really spend any time on these yet since I just recently compiled the list.
I've cross posted this list on my web site… Continue

This week I muse over the socio/political implications of the World Cup and our reasons for failure....... ho ho and there's a song to have a listen of. Worth the effort on it's own.

Some years ago I wrote a song for my Dad. A few years ago I posted a link to it on FARK.com and the discussion there was amazing. The usually snarky cynical group of nerds opened up. They came out of the woodwork to comment and wrote the answer to the question... "what would you say to your Dad today?... Thousands of people watched the video and hundreds commented in the thread and on Youtube. The comments in all three thread, each one a story, each one so different make you laugh, make you cry… Continue

Hey everyone I just checked out the Cooper stand at the Nashville TN summer NAMM show. In fact it was the most unique and best product there.
Ir weighed barely anything and fits in a guitar case because of its compact size. It will even click to the right size to hold a violin or viola! It's a great stand.
Visit there site and get rid of those Hercules stands that let your guitar lean back too far and buy the cooper stand… Continue

Just tried to learn the Riff for Rebel Rebel..GEtting there. but did find that doing it with the electric as opposed to an acoustic, it sounds better, I guess that's because it's always heard as an electric riff.
But it's coming.

Well I should have my newest guitar acquisition in a little more than a week from now. It is a blue with white Fender Stratocaster circa 1978-1981. Basically it is complete EXCEPT it needs tuners, strings and a bridge and tremelo unit. It is a little beat up, but I don't expect perfection for the $20 it is costing me.
I wonder how it will play, what it will sound like when I get her fixed up and in playable condition. I know it will cost me upwards of $200 to put tuners, and a… Continue

Most of if
not all amps produced either in the past or present owe a majority of

already know this but there are always new members joining the ranks of
guitarists and collectors who may not. I will provide a basic time… Continue
