Chosing your next guitar...

Face it folks, if you are afflicted with G.A.S., and I know most of you are, you have a list of what guitars you would purchase today, given Bill Gates' checkbook.

Mine, currently, Martin HDV-28, Martin D-28CW, Martin M-30 Jorma Kaukonen, Gibson Advanced Jumbo, and that's just a top 4 list. Of course, I can dream can't I? More in my price range is the Martin 000-15SM. Christmas is just around the corner, so if you're reading Bill, any or all of these are welcome.

You can hear some track drafts at ...pretty please :)

Hi, folks.  I just joined the Acoustic Guitar forum, and I'm looking for some insights into how to market an independent CD I produced and released earlier this month.  I've been spreading the word on several forums, and have made a YouTube video for one of the songs.

Just Questions and Answers About Guitar

For sometime I’ve been looking at ways to create a simple, but highly effective and useful collection of questions and answers about anything related to guitar. The idea grew into the notion that maybe I could build the largest repository of tag-indexed, guitar-related questions and answers in the…

Oh, so many guitar choices, so little money...

I'm pretty happy with my Seagull Grand Artist, and Gibson J-200, but can you really have too many guitars? I keep my guitars in standard tuning, and occasionally use alternate tunings on the Gibby. So, it would be nice to have a couple more around, so I could switch without having to re-tune. So, I keep looking and dreaming.

Last night I read about the Bourgeois Slope D BK, aka "the banjo killer", and it really got me leaning towards it. I've, also been thinking about a few Martin… Continue

It's a grey rainy day in Mission, but it's OK. I just take my Grand Artist in my hands and play. Man, this little guy has a great voice!
