Back Crack
I have a Seagull Mosiac with mahogany back that has an impact crack running from the edge of the upper bout for 6 inches along the grain. Using a flashlight, it's apparent that the crack goes all the way through.
Any suggestions on how best to have this fixed? Can it be done by myself?

ALWAYS keep a set of strings in your case. You never know when you will break a string ~ it's like a spare tire to a car!

Hi there from Greece.
I'd like to start recording videos of me playing my music and upload it to the web ( lets say utube ) and since i've never done it before , i'd like some help from you guys , if its not a problem.
So , what do i need in order to create a decent recording ? ( Hardware and software ) And what are the steps that i have to do .I do have some experience with computers , but not much ,so i have to ask you to keep the terminology simple.
Thank you in…

So far among my entry level guitars....
The Big Baby Taylor 6 string natural acoustic has the best sound, followed by my vintage sunburst 6 string acoustic Ibanez followed by my dreadnought 6 string acoustic Takemine. Want to eventually get a Martin. Any thoughts on all this?

I participated "International Fingerstyle Guitar Festval" hold in Beijing last year, where I met many great guitarists. I played Guitar Boogie Shuffle arrenged by Guy Van Duscer before them. It was nervous when playing and I didn't play well, but it was an unforgetable experience for me~

Changing chords quickly can happen with a little time and patience! Try taking 2 chords (i.e. C & G), work on their accuracy at a slow pace, once you have them down challenge yourself to play them faster, and then even faster ~ before you know it you're moving through those 2 chords quickly!

Try new skills that you would like to learn (i.e Travis picking, tablature, barre chords) - and keep at it until you get it. The skill may be a challenge, but when you can play it (and you will with continued effort) it's really cool!

Hi to everyone. The new CD is finished. It's called Stories that We Wrote, and it was produced by Will Ackerman at Imaginary Road Studios in Vermont. I've moved to Vermont now, and I'm looking out at the falling leaves sailing past my window and couldn't be happier. The scenary is breathtaking and even after all the flooding the state has gotten things back together. Hope you like some of the music which I've posted. Along with the book and the DVD, it's been a busy time.…
