 Now that the busy holiday season is over, it is time to work on my guitar again,  It was a bit chilly this morning as I started my drive to Arc Guitars in Winters, CA.  I was listening to the news on the way and became so captivated with the current events, I drove past my turnoff and ended up in Woodland. I don't go back to the school until Saturday. I am looking forward to the new challenge. I do wonder what will give my instrument the best tone. I was looking at the bracing in a Batson and Mcpherson and I noticed that they carved the centers out of the bracings - They look like bridges because they are scalloped as well. I wonder if this gives the sound more room to vibrate about? I will not try incorporating this idea for this instrument as I need to keep it simple for my first try. ...But…
