Welcome to the Acoustic Guitar Community.
We're really excited to share this one—Gareth Pearson lays down his solo fingerstyle arrangement of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean." Check out the transcription in our March 2012 issue, and good luck!

Hello Gareth, you are a young man on the rise, well done!
Seriously great, wow.
Amazing. He makes it look so easy. I'd defintiely check him out live if he came to my area,
Gareth is a great technician with fast fingers. I first met him in the early noughties and he'd only been playing around 18 months (As his dad Graham - a great 12 string flat picker himself - told me) . He sat at the back of a song/guitar workshop I was doing. I said don't be shy and come sit at the front, thinking he was a real beginner and wanting to make him feel at home. When he got to play later - let's say I had a bit of a shock. He was way ahead of everyone there. He's certainly going places...
Are you kidding me? Holy Cow! I love how it looks like he's not even trying! Absolutely amazing, I'll have to check out more of his music...
I saw Gareth play this in Minneapolis at the Cedar Cultural Center. He's much more animated while playing live. He moon-walked while playing --- it was great!
