My acoustic guitar a.k.a Morgana Le Fay

In between school, work, writing, and other little things in life, I've been trying to learn how to play my acoustic guitar (named Morgana Le Fay) properly. I've decided that once I learn how to play the following songs, I will host a mini bonfire and play all the songs in my backyard with friends while chestnuts and smores roast on an open fire:

Naked as we came - Iron & Wine
My Sweet Lord - George Harrison
Love Story - Taylor Swift
Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton
Fast Car - Tracy Chapman
Adam lives in theory - Lauryn Hill
Give me one reason - Tracy Chapman
Heart of Gold - Neil Young
No pressure over cappuccino - Alanis Morissette
You and your sister - Chris Bell
Flightless bird, American Mouth - Iron & Wine
Ghosts - Laura Marling
The captain and the hourglass - Laura Marling
My maniac and I - Laura Marling
Old man - Neil Young
Rainbows and pots of gold - Stereophonics
She takes her clothes off - Stereophonics
Local boy in the photograph (acoustic style) - Stereophonics
I'm only sleeping - Beatles
About a girl - Nirvana (my favourite band ever).
On a plain - Nirvana
All apologies - Nirvana
Lithium- Nirvana
Come as you are - Nirvana
Talk tonight - Oasis
When your mind's made up - The Swell Season/ Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova
Fantasy Man - The Swell Season/ Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova
Leave - The Swell Season/ Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova
If you have something to say (say it to me now) - The Swell Season/ Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova
And if I had the money to buy a piano and then learn how to play it well (it's been years since I played keyboard) then I would learn FALLING SLOWLY via The Swell Season as well.

...

To help me along, I've decided that this summer I'm going to take lessons. It's fun doing it on your own, but I want a one-on-one teacher to clean me up. I have a musical background (I can read music, and I have vocal background as well), so I think with a teacher I can pick up those professional nigly techniques that I WONT be able to get on my own.

An so in short, I probably won't be having that bonfire until at least a year from now.

Take care,

Adaora
