MY FAVORITE ALBUM:

Hi all had a dream last night that I was playing with one of my all time favorite artist(if yove seen any of my vids. on youtube youll know who that is) Dan Fogelberg. Anyway that is the meaning for this blog. Just wanted to put it down while its still on my mind. I started leasoning to Dan on the radio back in the 70s even before I really knew who he was. It wasent untill 81 or 82 that I really got into his music though. I remember one day I had to stay home from school becouse I had the flue. There wasent anything on T.V. so I turned on the radio. In that 4 to 6 hour period I hard Leader of the band, Run for the Roses and Hard to Say all at least twice. I made up my mind right then and there that I was going to get that album as soon as I got better. So the next week I went to the closest record shop(in this case it was a Sky City (remember them ) )to buy the record. I was hartbroken though when I found out that it was a dubble record and the cost was $19.95(that was like a $1,000 dollars to a kid without a job). So I went back home and started saving my pennies. About 6 mounths later I finally had enough money and I made the walk back to the store. Ill never forget that walk. There was still snow on the ground from a snow storm a few days before and the wind blow in my face the whole way there,but I got it. I run into my room and played it all day long. After that I started collecting all of Dans records form the frist on though some are on tape and some cd. but my most favorite is The Innocent Age the one that I walked through the snow to get.
