Weak and weary...

Well, just returned from a short vacation to San Antonio, TX last week. Nice area, but oh so humid. Lots to do and see, though, and we had a fantastic time. I'll tell you this though, the River Walk area is really not all that! Expensive restaurants, and the canal ride is not really my cup of tea. We really didn't see to much going on in the way of acoustic music in the downtone SA area. Of course, we don't live there, or have a guide, so maybe we missed it.

We did venture out to Sam's Burger Joint and Music Hall though. We were treated to an exceptional blues band, and a great local blues player, Ruben V. What a great performance, though not acoustic, I didn't mind at all. Ruben V. is a force to be experienced, and one of the finest blues players I've ever heard.

The drive home was a beast, took almost 16 hours, and though I missed my guitars, I've yet to open the cases. Just too tired. Hopefully, I'll get some fret time tonight.
