The one I have was in pretty good condition, small crack along the pickguard - I'll let you know what it's like what I get it back. It was $300 on Ebay.
I saw your comment on George Smith 12 strings. I recently acquired one and I'm eagerly waiting for my luthier to finish the set up. I wonder if you had any more to say about them. I pretty excited, as I looked at George Smith's website, and it makes me expect a nice instrument. Thanks.
We're always learning. Doug Young's book is really good. I am spending time with it too. I really like the blues and jazz chords he illustrates. Plus i struggle with music fundamentals, which he explains well using DADGAD. His book was a real find.
David, thanks for your comment on The Water is Wide. I love playing this arrangement. You can order the tab (probably in a book of tab) from the Ed Gerhard website. Ed is one of my favorite fingerstyle guitarists. Such tone and wonderful writing/arranging.
