Hi Robert , thankyou for your kind words and encouraging feedback,
yea special piece of music this and my film collegue Gavin did such fine work with the visuals ,, Tho I can hear mum say " I wish Tony had ironed his shirt " :-))))

Hi Robert - we are currently in Rutherglen (Victoria) a region renowned for its fortified wines. At the moment it is VERY dry. Good to get in touch. Don't get us much time to play as I would like as we have a busy schedule. Still I keep at as it keeps me sane! Brendan
10-4 on the ART preamp...I use it on guitar and vocal mics. I'm excited about being on this site, especially after reading through 60 or so earlier coments. It's really great that all these musicians, beginers & Pros are so willing to share with others....of course, I've always known, that for the most part, Musicians are the best people in the world. I look forward to hearing your music.
Hi Robert, thanks for the comment on "August Rain"..it was recorded on a Fostex VF160ex. the lead guitar is a Takamine, rhythm played on a '62 Martin D28. the Tak was recorded direct using an A R T tube mic preamp, the D28 was mic'd at the 12th fret using a GT AM51 and a NADY CM 90 set slightly behind sound hole and ahead of the bridge. This piece started out as just an exercise in chord changes, then my partner, Jamie, Liked the changes so much he started fooling around with some lead overlays..and in a hour we had the finished piece. We were going to extend it somewhat, but later decided we liked it just way it was. thanks for listening..and have a great day.
Hiya Robert ,, thanks for your desctriptive of "Spring". A tone poem , wow , that's so cool, yep I think it does create visualisation so intersting to get feedback on what it made you think of..
I'll have to work on that concept ,, musical poetry
Cheers
Robert
Thanks for joining the Fingerstyle Jazz group. Hoping to have good interaction/discussion on the fingerstyle stylings we've had the privilege to be introduced to and introduce others a great style of fingerstyle guitar. Would love to hear some of the music you do if you get a chance to post it. BTW I've found some grand inspiration in my own playing from the excursions of Yo Yo Ma. What a phenomenal player. We certain can draw some inspiration from players of other instruments.

Hi Robert, glad you like the guitar photos. Do you have some of yours posted anywhere? I'm in the middle of a hectic time personally at the moment but want to do more guitar-wise and on this site in the up-coming weeks. Please keep in touch. I think this space is a great idea for the acoustic guitar community.
